Sharon

Sharon Balthis is a British Columbia native; she has resided in the Columbus, OH area for over 24 years. Upon completing her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree at Otterbein College she worked as a Registered Nurse in medical-surgical and wound-ostomy care. Upon completion of a Masters Degree in Health Administration she worked at Columbus State Community College and Mount Carmel Health System. Sharon is also a certified colon hydrotherapist - Instructor level, with the International Association for Colon Hydrotherapy (I-ACT).

After years of experiencing declining health, Sharon sought the assistance of Carolen Koleszar, CNP-Naturopath, an integrative (natural and medical) healthcare practitioner who recommended various holistic/natural wellness modalities including colon hydrotherapy. This healing experience prompted her interest in practicing various holistic/natural wellness modalities that would complement her years of working in the Nursing profession.

Sharon is among the foremost authorities on natural digestive support, detoxification and internal cleansing. Her practice focuses on helping people live longer, healthier lives through colon hydrotherapy, improved digestion and cleansing/detoxification. Sharon has studied many philosophies of health and natural healing; she truly has a passion for assisting others in achieving a state of well-being, naturally.

Tofino Wellness Center is named after a small fishing/surfing village on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. Sharon and her family enjoy spending time with family and friends throughout the Pacific Northwest.
